Welcome!

Hello there!

Thanks for stopping by my page! It means a lot to me!

My name is Sika (pronounced Sheeka). I am a 40-year-old woman living on the east coast. I have had a fulfilling life, but one thing that has eluded me has been finding a spouse and starting a family. I have had relationships with wonderful men, but none of those relationships resulted in marriage, so I have decided to create a family on my own.

I look forward to being a mother one day! I plan to raise a child in a warm environment, full of love and support...

Who Am I?

As I started thinking about myself, I decided to ask my loved ones how they would describe me. Here is what they said:

“My sister is a one-of-a-kind person, and I love that she is dependable and consistent.”

– Tsatsu, my brother

“Sika is the glue that holds all relationships together.”

– Vive, my best friend

“I think what stands out about Sika is that she deeply values her relationships. Whether she just met you...

Work and Play

My interests include domestic and international travel. Due to work, I have been able to travel quite a bit. Some of my favorite destinations have been Hawaii, New Orleans, Germany, France and Ghana. My other interests include live music, dancing and supporting nonprofit organizations and small businesses.

I also enjoy learning languages. My interest in languages developed as a result of having a wonderful Russian teacher in high school. In addition, my parents are from Ghana, West Africa, so I grew up hearing another language in my household. I am currently...

Home Sweet Home

I live in a diverse condominium community in the DC-Metro area. It houses over 200 families and is a great place to live. I bought my condo in 2017 after saving for several years. It’s a one-bedroom unit with a balcony on the top floor of the building.

The community has a rooftop, gym and a lovely garden-area. I work out in the gym three times a week with my trainer who lives in the building and has become a dear friend. I also volunteer every summer to water the potted plants on the roof of our building. There are many families with...

My Family AKA My Circle

I was born to Ghanaian parents, who immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s. I grew up with them along with my two older brothers and my younger sister, who passed away in 2008. My father passed away in 2018. We grew up in a fairly tight-knit family that embraced two cultures: American and Ghanaian. That meant we ate both pizza and banku and spoke both English and Ewe in our home.

My extended family is very large with many aunts, uncles and cousins, some of whom are here in the U.S. and some who are abroad.

I consider my friends to be...

Thank You So Much

If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to get to know me.

I want you to know that if you choose me to mother your child, I will do so with all the love, support and wisdom you would have given him or her yourself. I would ensure that they have a well-rounded life full of travel, culture, curiosity and wonder.

Please know that I would want your child to maintain contact with you so that they will know how much you love them and so that you can see who they are becoming.

I will close by saying that I don’t...
